正文开始:
（一）
好不容易熬到了大四下半学期。
说实在的，我真不想用这个“熬”字来形容我的大学四年。大学生活对于很多人来说是美好的，甚至是梦幻般的丰富多彩。而农村出身的我至始至终不敢梦幻、不敢丰富，单调而唯一的学习再学习是我大学做的唯一而单调的事情，理由只有一个：早点赚钱养家。高考临近时，我们全家召开了关于我大学志愿选定讨论的第十次扩大会议，当时包括我爷爷和二叔一致认为发家致富只能靠养猪，但我伟大的父亲通过看报这么简单的途径力排众议给我定了最终的方向：那就是学电脑(当时说计算机对他们来说太专业，大部分长辈会认为是十块钱就能搞定的计算器)。我表示很欣赏我的父亲，没有我的父亲我根本没有机会日后成为一个程序员。
我叫夏力鼎，小名牛牛，标准的80后早期，北京一所普普通通马马虎虎高校计算机系本科生，成绩属于中等，无法达到优秀可能和我的天资也有一定关系。我的名字是在我的父亲送了一只猪前腿给村里当时公认最有文化的小学语文老师后给起的，我再次表示很欣赏我的父亲，因为我爷爷当时已经用毛笔给我定了名字叫夏富贵，父亲再一次伟大的力排众议。
大四下半学期最核心的事情就是找工作，因为很多人认为这将是人生的一个重大转折点，我全家已经背着我在家里开了好几次扩大讨论会议。我其实心里也很着急，我一直听说大学毕业就等于失业，家里为了供我上大学已经超度了好几十头猪。更重要的是一旦毕业，住宿问题是随之而来的最为严峻的问题，我必须在这之前找到能供我栖身还能寄钱回家的工作。
为了节约一切开支，为了省点钱能多买几本计算机书，我已经十多天不吃晚饭了。每天早上起来我一共要吃五个包子，总费用结算下来绝对比吃一顿晚饭要节约好多。一天晚上，父亲带着全家扩大会议的讨论结果给我通电话，第一句话就是问我生活怎样，钱够用吗，吃的饱吗。急中生智的我拉了刚酒足饭饱回宿舍的一个油光满面的舍友，逼着他硬打了一个嗝为我配了音，父亲很满意。
“牛，工作难找吗？”父亲的询问声夹杂着无限的期盼。
“没问题，我们学校电脑专业的学生包分配，而且现在学电脑的很紧俏，很多公司都来抢的。爸，你就放心吧。”我父亲始终认为我是电脑专业的，我也只能这么解释，同时善意的欺骗也是为了告诉我父亲他当初为我填的专业是无比正确和带有万丈光芒的。
“那就好，你一定要好好努力工作，缺钱了跟家里讲。家里不用你寄钱回来，要是实在。。。。”电话那头断了，我习惯了，父亲的硬币又不够了。
挂完电话，我心里一阵空虚。我知道“包分配”这三个字是我临时编出来的，我信你们也不会信，可我的父亲还就是信了。一切还得靠自己，我打算明天弄个简历投投看，碰碰运气也好。
“油头满面”在我旁边又打了一个嗝，我决定明天早上至少吃六个包子。
（二）
人的运气往往就在那一瞬间。
连续三周我投了N多简历，结果都石沉了大海，我一直在怀疑我的邮箱是否出了问题，怀疑我的简历制作上是否太失水准。其实我现在想说，普普通通马马虎虎的大学生工作真的挺难找，头和尾的反而会顺利很多。
我有点灰心了，我晚上睡觉时已经梦到我回到老家成为了养猪专业户，几百头猪排成一排，我的挥手对他们说：你们辛苦了。正当猪们要回复“一切为了你”的时候我的山寨二手手机响了，我醒了。
接电话，是我导师的电话。
“夏力鼎，明天上午带上你的简历到第三教室，我帮你推荐了一个做程序员的工作，明天他们公司要派人来面试。“导师这句话犹如晴天霹雳(原谅我用了反义词，不过当时我的感觉就只有它能形容了)。
我的导师姓冯，在业界是有点知名度的，不过从我的直觉上可以感觉到他不是特别重视和喜欢我。很难得他还能记得我叫夏力鼎，我记得以前上他的课时，他每次喊我回答问题都是叫我夏什么鼎，而且日复一日年复一年均如此。作为一个未来的程序员是有骨气的，所以这次找工作很多同学都找自己的导师帮忙推荐，我硬挺着身板打算自己亲手搞定我自己。
没想到冯导对我竟然还能有这份关怀，我顿时觉得“老师犹如父母”这句话是正确的，我决定明年教师节一定会带上礼物来看望冯导。
第二天，我特意问“油头满面”借了发型定型液体喷上，又强借了另外一个舍友的劣质西装，拿出我考上大学后二叔给我买的总共穿了四次的新皮鞋，带上简历一切准备就绪后，自信满满的往第三教室踏步而去。
到了第三教室，我发现已经至少有十个同学在那了，都是我的同班同学，也都是一些无关系无户口无优秀成绩单无好爸爸无经济后盾无女友却有成为优秀程序员理想的“困难户”。
冯导看见我进来，立马向坐在旁边那位经理模样的人介绍我(这个经理也就是我们后来的头，姓郑)。
“这也是我手下的一个非常优秀的得意门生啊，成绩非常优秀，动手能也强，绝对是可塑之才啊，我带过他们做过好几个项目了。他叫夏什么。。。。鼎”冯导的话立马让我庆幸明年可以省下一笔礼物开销了。
冯导用“也”这个字说明他在我之前已经把这十个难兄难弟都给介绍过了，并都肯定冠以“得意、优秀”之类的关键词，至于说我们被带过做项目，那是根本没有的事。事实上到后来我们才知道，该公司是一家专做OA的小软件公司，因为不知道是他们老板太威武还是何故该公司在一次OA群建设项目招标中一下子同时承接到了五个企事业单位的OA定制项目，在当时的年代，产品化的OA还集中在少数大公司手中，小公司的OA免不了要进行规模性的修改，有的甚至是颠覆性的，而这个我马上就要上岗的公司就是要进行源程序“很全面”的改造从而能适应不同的单位业务。
由于公司一下子“规模扩张了”，急需数十个救急的辅助人手，而这些人手又不需要太高的技能要求，最重要的是“便宜”。当公司来到我们学校来招应届毕业生时，立马被我们的冯导承接了下来。也就是这样我和我的十个难兄难弟被我们导师也就是冯导“兜售”给了这个公司。说老实话，我们这几个都不是冯导的得意门生，据我所知的冯导最得意的几个门生，冯导亲自跑了一趟某知名网络公司，为他们保送了该知名公司的程序开发岗位。为此我们这些难友因为冯导的“偏心”一直对他不是太满。

不过不管如何终于有了工作，我们这些人的兴奋程度只能用“想撞墙”来形容，当晚我们一起在学校附近的大排档把酒言欢并完成了该大排档库存清仓工作，我们表示将风雨同舟、荣辱与共、齐头并进。我当晚主动用手机给家里打了一个电话，老父亲从家一路狂奔至村里的小卖部电话处，激动的半天说不出话，我第一次告诉我的父亲我是一个“程序员”了，父亲说他理解了，他说好好做“程序员”，全家都为我高兴，要是实在…….，电话那头又断了。我的爸爸呀，这次是我打过来的啊。
我知道“程序员”这个在父亲眼里的新名词和科学家是同一个档次的。
一个星期后，我在我的第一个东家正式上岗，实习期三个月，实习期工资五百大洋。现在看来纯属扯淡的工资，不过那个时候对于我来说抵得上我两个月的生活费，那可是巨款。
所谓初生牛犊不怕虎，而我就是这一头标准的牛。
进了工作岗位后我发现我在大学学到的知识在实际应用中几乎完全发挥不上用场。公司用的是.Net(当时还是1.0的framework)开发的所谓的BS版本的OA，对于我们这些只知道在纸上谈c、c++甚至还有FoxPro的伪程序员们来说简直就是天文代码。不知道哪位大牛说过“学好c++走遍天下都不怕”。我很想求解释，如何才能在一开始的时候就不怕。
幸好公司提供了为期四周的突击技能培训，而我更是幸好利用不吃晚饭的代价购买过相关的丛书，从书上我学到了一些我认为在学校尤其在冯导那根本学不到的玩意儿。所以在这里我一定要奉劝各位即将成为程序员的同僚们：少玩游戏多看书，发家致富靠看书绝对是有帮助的。
一个多月的培训和自我培训过去了，我发扬了在大学期间艰苦朴素、克难求进、坚持到底的精神，用近乎裸奔式的疯狂学习模式，我终于学会了当时版本的.Net基本开发(当然现在看来，那时的我只能算是在皮毛的基础上略懂一二)，当然这要首先谢谢MS强有力的代码编辑器和近乎傻蛋式的开发模式。
和我一起进岗的同学陆续有人无法坚持而离开，到培训期结束时只剩下连我在内的五个人。我自然而然成了我们这五个人当中的组长。
我再一次打电话给我的父亲，我家已经装了电话。我在加班时蹭了公司的油，用公司电话小小的打了一个长途给父亲，我和父亲第一次无障碍的畅谈了十分钟，九分五十秒的时候父亲说要挂了，说公家的便宜以后还是不要占了，好好努力回报社会。
我泪奔，当时的我认为，不管先回报谁还是某个组织，我得先回报我的父亲。

培训期虽然平稳度过，但接下来的实战期更是来的汹涌猛烈。
郑经理，也就是去我学校“兜买”我们这些人的头，给我们五个人安排了第一个任务—内部消息模块。基本需求是内部员工A发给内部员工B一个纯文字消息，记录在数据库中,如果B看后则对应的记录进行标识设定代表已读，也可以进行消息回复，也可以转发给其他人，同时要支持群发。当然B也可以在不通知A的情况看都不看直接删掉，这时A要收到B没有观看过的系统提示。当时觉得这个需求已经神一样的复杂了。
其实这个功能很早原有OA中就有了，只不过开发这个内部消息系统的“大神”突然辞职了，该“大神”走时很“安详”，安详到什么交接工作也没做。郑经理很火很激动，后果是他做了一个很火很“粗暴”的决定，他带着冯导地对我们这几个“很优秀、有项目经验、有塑造力”的评价，决定叫我们五个人重做该模块，并且是独立完成，完成得好直接通过实习期，当然完成的不好的后果郑经理没有讲，我预计是和“卷铺盖滚蛋”同义。我预计公司也实在调不出人手来做我们的师傅，我认为郑经理很有魄力。
没想到第一次实战就是承接了如此完整又有如此高“风险”的功能，我们本以为会先跟着某个师傅改改页面或者从一些SQL语句编写开始。这下我们慌了手脚，我作为他们的头只能故作镇静，我在公司提供的超廉价租房中召集了大家开了一次模块开发讨论扩大会议。
这次会议大家讨论的很激烈很有想象力很火爆，但最终持续了近三个小时也没结果，肚子饿的咕咕叫的我只能宣布本次会议成功而圆满的结束。
作为一个完整的模块开发，必须首先进行数据库的设计，我翻查了一下原设计者的文档，疯了，该厮竟然只用了一张表就搞定了所有功能，从另外个角度我不得不佩服原作者节省资源、浓缩既精华的代码作风。但是当时以我们几个人的水平和经验，使出了大家一起吃奶的力气都没有整出好的设计来。我认为早知道就不该看该厮原来的设计和程序，反而让我们一下子都被固定住了思维。
其实程序员这一行光靠聪明才智是远远不够的，开发经验确实是重中之重，难怪现在好多公司只招有经验的程序员，但是作为我们这些大学生程序员没有第一次就没有经验，没有经验就不可能有第一次，好矛盾好纠结。
这时有两个同学打了退堂鼓，他们认为应该直接向郑经理表白表示不会做，甚至有一位同学表示想退出另外找工作。我的牛脾气上来了，坚持认为我们能完成这个模块，为了防止他们真去“表白了”我差点把两个退堂鼓同学在宿舍里“监禁”。
为了不丢脸，为了一炮打响我们的处女座，更为了坚持我们初入程序员道路的一份执着，我们几个凑了份子买了些水果拜访了冯导。冯导听了事情原委后很得意，欢快的收下了水果，带着上帝般的表情给我们上了一课。面对冯导这次不一样的上课，我们几个听得特别认真，同去的一个同学竟然带了一个当时无比流行某品牌复读机的山寨版—“步步走复读机”，录下了冯导的每一句话。上完这堂课，冯导请我们在大排档吃了一个巨饱，临走时冯导语重心长的跟我们讲：程序员是一个把客户的快乐建立在自己痛苦之上的工作，踏入程序员囧途的第一步就意味着你很难轻易回头，如果你中途因为遇到困难而放弃了，你以往的痛苦将承受的没有任何意义。
有两个同学泪奔了，我很镇定，我是一头牛，以后不会再轻易掉下眼泪，因为我听懂了冯导的话。
这件事后来的过程其实不算很顺利，但是因为冯导那一次“真正贴近现实”的上课加上我坚定的执着和坚持，虽然郑经理发回程序让我们连夜加班改了无数遍，但是最终—-我们还是成功了。
